Intensive Outpatient Program (IOP)
Intensive Outpatient Program (IOP)
At Tampa Therapy and Rehabilitation Services, Kimberley May, LMHC, MCAP, ICADC, CEAP, SAP, CRC, offers an Intensive Outpatient Program (IOP) for clients who need more structured, frequent support than traditional weekly therapy, but don't require the full-time structure of residential or inpatient care. With over 20 years of experience in addiction and mental health treatment, Kimberley designs each IOP to meet clients where they are in their recovery.
A Higher Level of Structured Support
IOP combines multiple therapy sessions each week — individual counseling, skill-building, and relapse prevention work — into a coordinated treatment plan. This level of care is ideal for clients stepping down from inpatient or residential treatment, or for those whose needs have outgrown standard outpatient therapy.
Evidence-Based, Individualized Care
Each IOP plan is built around the client's specific history, co-occurring concerns, and recovery goals. Kimberley draws on proven clinical methods to address substance use, mood and anxiety disorders, and the underlying patterns that contribute to relapse, helping clients build durable coping skills for everyday life.
Flexible Scheduling, Real Accountability
IOP is designed to work alongside a client's job, school, or family responsibilities, with sessions scheduled to provide consistent support and accountability without requiring time away from daily life.

Are stepping down from inpatient, residential, or detox treatment and need continued structure
